FAQ's

Do you do hair?

Yes! But allow me to clarify. I do not offer intricate bridal or prom hair. I offer what I call, "hair-glam." Perfect for portraits, boudoir, head shots, or a fancy night out. Exactly what every gal needs to go from zero to hero, in a hurry. Think straight, sleek and chic -- with some volume up top, or sexy, Victoria's-Secret-model inspired waves. Are you getting a visual? Classic glam-hair. Gorg!

For this service I ask that you arrive with your hair dry and styled how you might run errands or go to the gym - basic. I will glam-it-up for you. Depending upon what you are looking for - sleek or wavy, and depending upon the texture and length or your hair, this service takes an additional 15-30 min.

Looking for a fancy updo, elaborate braided style, or funky runway hair? Allow me to refer an amazing stylist to assist you with that! Over the years I have worked with the best of the best, and I know many amazing stylists. I am happy to send you a list of recommendations, per your request.

How long does a makeover take?

I'll be honest, I'm a fan of enjoying the little details in life. (I suppose that makes sense considering I'm a makeup artist.) Now how does that translate for you? It means this: I hope to make your makeover experience as unhurried and relaxing as possible. Every gal deserves to be pampered once in a while, right? Ladies- this is not your typical cosmetic counter makeover! Prepare to enjoy!

So what can you expect? If it's for a boudoir shoot, senior portrait, wedding or special event of any kind, I typically block out an hour and 15 minutes for the application portion and 5-10 minutes for the consult before hand. So around an hour and a half, give or take. If we are not in my studio, I always arrive 20-30 minutes prior to our designated start time to set up. For fashion and print work, where I am acting as the "creative director" of the makeover, and there is no consultatation required, the process is about an hour to and hour and fifteen minutes depending upon how elaborate/intriacate the look initial look is.

For bridal party members or group makeovers, where I'm already set-up and we are doing back to back makeovers, each additional makeover takes roughly an hour and 15 minutes. This includes a 5 minute consultation and brush cleansing/sanitation in between.

Do I need lashes? I feel like mine are already long. What are your thoughts?

Without hesitation, I say - YES!! The lashes I use are so natural looking, yet so very elegant. I won't make you look like a drag queen... that is a promise!

Lashes are much like a "push-up bra" for the eyes. They add fullness and length, but more importantly, they add that finishing touch of glamour every gal desires. They look wonderful in person and photograph sensationally.

I'm such a big fan of falsies that they are complimentary with all of my makeovers (with the exception of bridesmaids and wedding relatives - those may be added on and paid for separately). They truly make an amazing difference. I am confident that you will LOVE them.

Do you work out of a studio/salon?

Yes! I work out of an absolutely amazing studio. It is the perfect space to truly pamper my clients. From lighting to wine -- I like to make the sure that your enitre experience with me is an event to remember.

My studio is centrally located just north of Downtown Denver. There is free parking right outside (always a plus) and if that weren't great enough, it is so bright, comfy and gloriously decorated that somtimes I secretly wish I lived there! (You might too!)

How do I book you for my photo shoot or event?

It's easy! Please contact me via email or telephone. I require a $125 non-refundable deposit to reserve your wedding date. For all other events payment is due at the time of the event.

I am from out of state/my event is in a remote location, will you travel to me?

I will travel anywhere that you pay me to! I've done events in various states across the country as well as destination weddings in remote areas. Regular travel and on-location fees apply, as well as lodging/airfare/food expenses, if applicable.

When Are you available & How Far in advance should I book you?

When: I am available for booking Thursdays - Saturdays. Every once in a while I might be able to swing a Monday-Wednesday booking. But it is VERY rare.

How far in advance: This is of course entirely up to you. Depending upon the day of the event (Saturdays book up fastest, week days are slower) and the season (May-September is always the most heavily booked), allowing a few weeks to a few months notice is safe. However, if you wish to book me last minute, it's always worth a shot! Every once in a while I may have a random last minute opening!

When it comes to weddings, most of my bridal clientele book on average between 6-10 months prior to their big day. Once wedding season is in full swing, popular dates get snagged quickly!
